Auburn Hills, MI- What a game it was on the campus of Oakland Community College this afternoon as the men's basketball team erased a 17-point halftime deficit to take the win against St. Clair Community College, 91-82.
With the win, the Owls improve to 19-4(7-2) for the year, while the Skippers fall to 12-11(3-5).
It was a complete team effort for the Owls as five players were in double figures for scoring, including sophomore guard Nick Speiser who scored a game high 25 points for the Owls, while also adding on 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Sophomore forward Jordan Wright continued his dominance this year as he recorded another double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds. Freshman center Charles Kage made his presence felt in this one, as he tacked on 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists for the Owls.
The Owls return to the hardwood next week when the visit Henry Ford College on Wednesday, February 14th. Tip-off is at 7:30pm.
