Men take down Top Ranked Team in Michigan at Home

Auburn Hills, MI- The Oakland Community College men's basketball team won a thriller of a game tonight over #12 Schoolcraft College. In a contest that saw the men lead by as much as 20 in the game, the Ocelots kept the pressure on for the full forty minutes but it wasn't enough as the Owls take the home conference matchup, 100-87.

After tonight's matchup, the men improve to 15-3 (3-1) while the Ocelots drop to 16-2 (3-1).

It was a strong showing from the sophomores tonight, especially sophomore forward Jordan Wright. The games leading scorer dropped 33 points while also tacking on 9 rebounds and 2 steal to his docket. Nick Speiser tallied 22 points of his own while also recording 8 rebounds on the night, and Aaron Chapman managed to record 21 points with 4 rebounds.

The men's next matchup will be an afternoon tilt at Wayne State's Matthaei Center where they'll face off against the Macomb Community College Monarchs. Tip-off is at 3pm.
