Four Owls earn 2025 Region XII & MCCAA Volleyball Awards
Auburn Hills, MI- It's award season for the 2025 MCCAA volleyball season and four Owls were selected to be honored for their efforts on the court this season.
Sophomore outside hitter Emily Snay was the recipient of First Team All-Conference honors for the Eastern Conference this year. Snay carried the offensive attack this year for the Owls, as she contributed with 3.52 kills/set, including 204 total on the year, as well as a hitting percentage of .209. Snay also accounted for 4.2 points/set this year, which ranked 5th in the MCCAA. Being awarded First-Team honors also includes the recognition of being named to the All-MCCAA team as well for Snay.
Sophomore middle blocker Audrey Cole received Second Team All-Conference honors this year, as she ended her season averaging 2.24 kills/set and a hitting percentage of .220 which led the team. Cole also led the team in total blocks with 43.
Freshman libero Mattea Ball put together a strong season in her collegiate debut season, earning her Second Team All-Conference honors. Ball led the team in total digs with 317, as well as averaging 4.23 digs/set. On top of her All-Conference award, Ball was also named MCCAA East Defensive Player of the Week twice during the 2025 season.
Rounding out the awards for the Owls is sophomore setter Brooklyn Poe, who earned MCCAA Honorable Mention honors this Fall. Poe led the team in both total sets played with 77, as well as assists per set with 5.25
