Volleyball falls in Three Sets to Skippers

Port Huron, MI- The Oakland Community College volleyball team fought hard but fell last night to MCCAA East opponent, St. Clair County 3-0.
The Skippers, who improved their record to 9-4 on the year, got off to a quick start and stayed hot, winning each set 25-13, 25-22, and 25-11. With the loss, the Owls fall to a 1-1 record in the East and a 3-6 record overall.
Sophomore outside hitter Emily Snay led the offensive attack for the Owls as she registered 10 kills on the night, while freshman libero Mattea Ball led the Owls in digs with 12.
Volleyball will have the weekend off but will be back in action at home on Monday, September 22 to take on Eastern Conference opponent Mott Community College.
