Women's Basketball Drops Season Finale at Wayne
Detroit, MI- The Oakland Community College women's basketball team closed out their season last night to Wayne County Community College in a hard-fought contest that ultimately came up short for the Owls, as they fell 83-78 to the Wildcats.
The Owls end their year with a conference record of 3-11 and overall record of 6-21.
Sophomore forward Madison Spanicciati led the way for the Owls once again as she crossed the 20-point plateau in back-to-back games with 23. Spanicciati added 5 rebounds and 4 steals on the night as well. Sophomore forward Larissa Gibson ended her night with 11 points and 7 rebounds, while freshman forward Tracy Ludescher collected 11 points and 2 rebounds.
The Owls will graduate 5 sophomores this year, and OCC wishes them the best of luck in all their future endeavors and thanks them for their time and effort towards the program! Women's basketball will return in the Fall rejuvenated and ready to go!
