Owls 4th Quarter surge Secures Win over Henry Ford

Dearborn, MI- It was a good night for the Owls as the Oakland Community College women's basketball team brought home the win against Henry Ford last night with a final score of 101-91.

With the win, the Owls snap a 6-game losing streak and improve to 5-18(2-8) on the season, while the Hawks drop to 2-18(1-9).

OCC got a massive boost from their forwards with sophomore Larissa Gibson leading the way with a team high 23 points, along with 14 rebounds to give her another double-double. Gibson also tacked on 4 steals in the contest.

Freshman Tracy Ludescher crossed the 20 point plateau on the night with 21 and added 8 boards to her resume. Sophomore Madison Spanicciati ended her night with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals.

Following the win against the Hawks, the Owls will be back on the road this Saturday when they take on Schoolcraft College at 1pm.
