Auburn Hills, MI- The Oakland Community College women's basketball team played a highly contested matchup this afternoon against St. Clair County Community College at home. The Owls ended the 3rd quarter only down by three but couldn't keep up with the Skipper offense as they lose this one, 87-68.
After today's contest, the Owls drop to 4-18(1-8) for the season, while the Skippers improve to 17-7(8-1).
Sophomore forward Larissa Gibson recorded another double-double on the year, consisting of 20 points and 18 rebounds. Freshman forward Tracy Ludescher contributed with 12 points and 4 rebounds on the afternoon, while sophomore guard Brooklyn Poe accounted for 10 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals on the day.
The women will be back in action next week when they hit the road to face off against Henry Ford College. Tip-off will be at 5:30pm.
