Auburn Hills, MI- The MCCAA conference season marched on this afternoon as the women's basketball team at Oakland Community College hosted Wayne County, resulting in a 88-83 loss for the women.
After today's matchup, the Owls sit at 4-16(1-6) and the Wildcats improve/fall to 8-9(1-5).
The Owls had standout performances from two of their sophomores this afternoon, as forwards Larissa Gibson and Madison Spanicciati tabbed 20 points for the Owls. Gibson tacked on 6 rebounds to here performance, while Spanicciati added 5 rebounds and 5 steals to her docket. Freshman Tracy Ludescher contributed with 13 points of her own and 7 rebounds.
The women's next contest on the hardwood will be at home on Wednesday, February 4th when they welcome in Jackson College. Tip-off will be at 5:30pm.
