Auburn Hills, MI- The women's basketball team at Oakland Community College hosted #3 Schoolcraft College on Wednesday night, looking to secure back-to-back wins in the MCCAA. The number three team in the country came out hot and explosive early and never looked back, ultimately winning the contest 115-32.
After tonight's loss, the Owls fall to 4-13 (1-3) on the year, and the Ocelots improve to 18-0(4-0), remaining undefeated on the year.
For the Owls, sophomore forward Larissa Gibson reached double digits in scoring on the night with 11 points, paired with 4 rebounds. Freshman guard Leah Williams tabbed 5 points for herself along with 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Freshman forward Tracy Ludescher added 5 points along with 7 rebounds as well.
The women's next matchup will be an afternoon tilt at Wayne State's Matthaei Center where they'll face off against the Macomb Community College Monarchs. Tip off is at 1pm.
