Livonia, MI- The Oakland Community College women's basketball teams' season came to a close on Tuesday night as they were bested by #16 Schoolcraft College with a final score of 119-57 in the quarterfinal matchup of the Great Lakes District B Championship.
The Owls played a competitive first quarter as they were only down 3 after 10 minutes of play, but unfortunately couldn't keep up with the high powered offense of the Ocelots.
Sophomore Lizzy Liedel ended her Owl career with a 17-point performance along with 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Freshman Larissa Gibson contributed with 8 points and 8 rebounds on the night, while Sophomore Natalie Kirk had 8 points or her own and 6 rebounds.
The Owls finish the year with 12-16 record overall and a 6-8 record in conference.
