Softball Clinches spot in Great Lakes District Championship
Auburn Hills, MI- The regular season officially wrapped up for the Oakland Community College Softball team this past weekend as the Owls split against both Mott Community College and Schoolcraft College, but more importantly, the Owls have officially secured their spot in the 2025 NJCAA Division II Great Lakes District Championship!
The Owls return to the postseason for the 2025 season after missing out on last year's district championship, finishing the year in last place in the MCCAA East with a record of 6-33. This year's team ends the regular season with a record of 24-26 overall, along with a conference record of 18-12 which was good for second place in the East.

Their first opponent will be MCCAA West opponent Glen Oaks Community College, who finished 3rd in the West and hold a record of 16-18. The winner will move on to play the #2 seed in Grand Rapids Community College, while the other will head to the loser's bracket and will have an uphill battle ahead of them in the double elimination tournament.
