Four PR's set as both Men and Women compete in Wayne State Warrior Challenge

New Boston, MI- Both the Men's and Women's cross country teams participated in the Wayne State Warrior Challenge on Friday as this marked the second of five races both teams will compete in this Fall.

Below are the results for the Men in the 8k race:

Napoleon Lino- 27:46.40 (45^th)

James Cusick- 28:58.60 (69^th)

Karl Wegner- 30:34.50 (82^nd)

Jihad El Farouj- 31:34.60 (88^th)

Quinn O'Shea- 32:17.60 (92^nd)

Suman Thapa- 40:34.60 (102^nd)

Four freshman had PR's on Friday night, which included Karl Wegner, Jihad El Farouj, Quinn O'Shea, and Suman Thapa.

Below are the results for the Women in the 6K race:

Adrian Fear- 31:01.00 (108^th)

Angelica Vredeveld- 33:53.30 (115^th)

Both teams will be back in action on Friday, September 26^th at Stoney Creek Metro park for the MCCAA Eastern Conference Championship.
