Men's Golf tees up the 2025 Season at the Kirtland Invitational
Auburn Hills, MI- The Oakland Community College Men's Golf team is ready to tee up the 2025 Fall season on Monday, September 8th as they make the long trek up to Grayling, Michigan for the Kirtland Invitational at Grayling Country Club.
The men will be led by a new voice this fall after long time golf coach Rick Coatta retired at the end of the 2025 spring season. Steve Himmelsbaugh has taken the reigns over for OCC golf program, after 7 years as the head coach at Romeo High School. With the season quickly approaching, Himmelsbaugh is ready to see his team in action. "We're excited about the fall season because the team has a nice blend of experience and youth on the team," said Himmelsbaugh. "Brent Dzieciolowski and Joey Robinson are returning starters that bring a good combination of talent and leadership to the squad. Owen Pemberton is another returning player that has demonstrated an incredible work ethic during practice. Newcomers Drew Nunez and Nick Moore have shown great potential in our practice rounds and should complement the returning players nicely."
The men will have 8 total contests this fall, including when they host the OCC Invitational on Friday, September 19th at Fieldstone Golf Club.
