Betteley qualifies for NJCAA DII National Championship
Team finishes 5th overall at Region XII Championship
Battle Creek, MI- The NJCAA Region XII Championship concluded last week as the Oakland Community College Men's Golf team competed for a spot in the NJCAA DII National Championship. Needing a top 3 finish, the men unfortunately came in 5th overall with a score of +99 after 54 holes of play, just missing out on the cut.
Freshman Brady Betteley however earned a spot as an Individaul Qualifier in the NJCAA DII National Championship after his excellent play over the course of the 2 day tournament.
Betteley shot an 81 on the opening 18, a 75 on the second 18, and finished off the 54-hole tournament with a 77, giving him a grand total of 233, which equates to +17 over par.
The National Championship will be taking place in Plymouth, IN from May 20-23 and will be hosted by Swan Lake Resort.
