Detroit, MI- The Oakland Community College men's basketball team captured their 3rd win in a row last night as they took down Wayne County Community College 86-65, which has officially wrapped up the regular season for the men.
The Owls managed to finish 3rd in the MCCAA Eastern Conference standings with a record of 10-4 and 22-6 overall.
For the contest, Freshman forward Andrew Turnquist led the way for the Owls on the night as he ended with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore guard Nick Speiser ended his night with 19 points while making all four attempted 3's, and Sophomore guard Aaron Chapman had 14 points with 4 rebounds.
Up next for the men is the quarterfinal matchup in the NJCAA Great Lakes District A Championship, where they'll host conference opponent Schoolcraft College on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7pm.
