Auburn Hills, MI- The Owls men's basketball team are on a roll as they made it three wins in a row after tonight's contest against the Jackson College Jets, winning by a score of 97-77.
As it stands currently, the Owls have a record of 18-4(6-2) while the Jets drop to 2-21(0-8).
Not only did the Owls collect their 18th win on the season, a career milestone was reached as sophomore forward Jordan Wright surpassed 1,000 career points for his collegiate career. Wright achieved the landmark with a cut to the rim for a contested layup late in the first half of tonight's contest.
Leading the way for the Owls this evening was sophomore guard Aaron Chapman who notched 23 points, and 4 rebounds. Sophomore guard Nick Speiser knocked down 20 points of his on the evening, with an additional 9 rebounds and 4 assists to his docket, and freshman forward Andrew Turnquist collected 14 points with 9 rebounds.
The Owls finish off their stretch of home games this Saturday when they'll welcome in St. Clair. Tip-off is at 3pm.
