Auburn Hills, MI- The Oakland Community College men's basketball team hosted Wayne County for a Saturday afternoon tilt in Auburn Hills, which saw the Owls take home the win after beating the Wildcats 83-78.
As it stands currently, the Owls record sits at 17-4(5-2) while the Wildcats drop to 9-10(2-4).
For the Owls, sophomore guard Nick Speiser showed out has he collected a double-double on the afternoon, consisting of 25 points and 13 rebounds. Speiser also tacked on 4 assists in the contest. Sophomore forward Jordan Wright managed 16 points and 6 rebounds on the day, while freshman guard Braeden Holder notched 12 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.
The men will be back in action on Wednesday night when Jackson College pays a visit to campus. Tip-off is at 7:30pm.
