Men Handle Business on the Road against Mott

Flint, MI- The Oakland Community College men's basketball team handled business on the road yesterday evening as they claimed victory over the Mott Community College Bears with a final score of 92-81.

After an up and down stretch for the Owls over the past two weeks, the men find themselves at 16-4(4-2) on the year, while the Bears sit at 8-10(1-3).

The sophomore's tonight for the Owls led the way as all three starters notched 20-point performances in the win against Mott. Guard Nick Speiser led all scorers in the contest with 27 points, while also tacking on 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Forward Jordan Wright notched 24 points and recorded 8 rebounds in the contest, and added 5 steals to his stat sheet. Guard Aaron Chapman had 22 points of his own along with 3 steals.

The Owls next contest will be at home this Saturday when they welcome in Wayne for a 3pm tip.
