Men drop Home Conference Opener to Henry Ford

Auburn Hills, MI- The Oakland Community College men's basketball team hosted conference opponent Henry Ford College on Saturday afternoon for the Owls first home conference game on the young season. The Owls would drop the contest at home, with a final score of 92-79. Following the loss, the Owls drop to 14-3(2-1), while the Hawks improve to 9-5(2-1).

For the Owls, sophomore forward Jordan Wright collected 16 points in the losing effort, while also tacking on 6 rebounds. Sophomore guard Aaron Chapman notched 17 points for the Owls, with sophomore guard Nick Speiser also contributing with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The men will be back at home on Wednesday night when they host #17 Schoolcraft College. Game time is set for 7:30pm.
