Speiser drops 26 in road win over Ocelots
Owls improve to 14-4
Livonia, MI- It was a defensive battle early on but the Oakland Community College Men's basketball team pulled away with the 71-55 win over Schoolcraft College, improving to 14-4 on the season and 3-1 in the conference. Schoolcraft college falls to 8-9 and 0-4 in the conference.
The Owls were led by Freshman Nick Speiser who dropped a game high 26 points in the contest, along with 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Speiser had reinforcements from fellow Freshman teammate Jordan Wright who contributed with 18 points of his own and 7 rebounds.
Linden Holder filled the stat sheet as he turned in a performance that included 14 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.
The Owls will face their toughest test of the year on Saturday as they welcome in No. 4 Macomb Community College. Tip off is at 3pm.
